Hi Friends,
I hoped to get this month's newsletter out a bit earlier but life got in the way. Found myself back in Savannah, GA helping my father recover from the flu and a fall. Unfortunately, I'll have to postpone my trip to LA and miss out on the etail west conference in Palm Springs this month.
Seems like a perfect time to share this article about taking retirement in small batches earlier on in life. Easier said than done, especially if you are juggling a lot in your business and/or have a small team. We've been doing a 4-day work week for more than a year now and haven't looked back, but would love to expand the concept. The article also shouts out Built to Sell, which I started re-reading and recommended to a couple of folks recently. It's one of the best biz books and a good reminder to build processes and construct your business to sell, even if you don't want to any time soon.
While digging around for documents deep in Google Drive, I stumbled across a rough draft of an agency business plan from around 10 years ago, after leaving Homage. I left it completely unedited, kind of neat to see what became true organically with Electric Eye and what could be different with FEEL. I still have to remind myself that it's 'i before e, except after c'.
